about this project

The movie follows the journey of two Angolans who traveled to Bahia, Brazil, searching for vestiges of a lost ancestry. Besides participating in a big music show, they met other musicians and investigated elements from their own identity. It's a music documentary that addresses the remains of the African tradition outside Africa, throughout music.
